Mission of the Ministry
The Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy (FMACCE) was established on 21st August 2023 by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a beacon of hope and progress in the realization of the Renewed Hope Agenda of his administration. The Ministry’s vision is to harness Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage, artistic talents, and vibrant tourism sector to drive sustainable economic growth, foster national unity, and project a positive image of Nigeria to the world.
Mandate
Provide enabling environment for exposure of the positive elements of the Nation’s Art and Culture and to harness the potential of Nigeria’s creative industries.
