Backed by the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy (FMACTCE), CLAP is here and it’s ready to power up Nigeria’s creative and cultural industries like never before.

This nationwide initiative delivers structured training, hands-on mentorship, and accessible funding.

The goal is to help creatives not just survive but thrive, grow, and play a key role in driving economic growth.

Now that CLAP has officially launched, it’s rolling out 600 creative hubs across Nigeria.

These hubs will spark collaboration, fuel bold ideas, and build a creative ecosystem that’s inclusive, sustainable, and future-ready.

“This programme isn’t just about nurturing talent,” said a spokesperson from FMACTCE.

“It’s about creating an environment where our creatives can compete and lead on the global stage.”

To begin with, CLAP will run on a public-private partnership model, ensuring efficient resource management and transparent governance from day one.

Moreover, the structure includes strategic alliances that will improve legal frameworks, expand digital infrastructure, and unlock funding access for creative entrepreneurs.

As a result, the impact will be profound. By 2030, CLAP aims to:

Create over 2 million jobs.
